The Aptiv Community Victory Garden, 3000 South Avenue, started the season with a planting day on May 6. Aptiv staff, administrators, and clients joined community members to plant vegetable and herb seedlings and seeds in the six ground-level and four raised beds. Thanks to Coulee Region Ecoscapes, the beds were cleaned up and topped up with fresh compost the week before planting. Those who wish to help plant, weed, and harvest should come to the garden on Friday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. (in case of rain, we will meet the following Monday).
